Less Bricks, More Clicks

When A Fine Line opened 31/2 years ago, owner Jeanne Dwan had plans to showcase absolutely everything everyone would ever need to make every celebration a special event.  Shoppers have grown accustomed to finding just the right cards, invitations, jewelry, accessories, gifts and “haute décor” items to fit every budget.

A Fine Line has also seen the Invitation Department become a huge success; and that business continues to grow as we have become a major player in the wedding and event industry.  To accommodate the multiple appointments we have on any given day, we will be dedicating more of our boutique space to our stationery and invitation department. 

Over the years, Jeanne has explored market trends, studied the purchase data within her store, and received helpful input from her many clients – her friends.  She has come to the conclusion that with the summer rapidly approaching, now is the time to focus the retail business on the PREMIER OF AFL ONLINE which will make its debut some time after Labor Day.  In the age of internet shopping, what A Fine Line needs is less bricks, and more “clicks”.

Please pardon our dust as we remodel to create a more intimate invitation salon and retail shopping experience.  Within the next couple of weeks you will see the start of construction and the gradual movement of furniture and displays in our "brick and mortar" boutique.  Although a bit smaller, our retail store will still feature your favorite “staples” –specialty greeting cards, scented candles, jewelry, fragrances, home décor, unique gifts – and of course the super cute displays for which AFL is known.  The Readers of Tucson Lifestyle voted AFL the 2012 BEST OF THE CITY as the “Best Place to Buy a Special Gift”, and we intend to retain that title.

The fact that we will be consolidating space, energy and resources over the summer means that we will be able to open the Fall/Holiday Season with a bigger and better retail store, featuring all of the great merchandise and Seasonal displays which our shoppers look forward to.
