Holiday Boutique and Home Tour

Have you ever visited A Fine Line, appreciating the beautiful displays and decorating ideas, and wishing you could see what Jeanne's own home is like?  OR - have you enjoyed Jeanne's gracious hospitality in her home, and wished you had the opportunity to travel across town and shop at the boutique?  Great news!!  Both wishes are about to be filled with a Holiday Boutique and Home Tour, featuring custom jewelry designer, Donna Maas.  This special weekend (December 2nd and 3rd)will be hosted at Jeanne's home at 622 W. Silver Eagle Ct. in Oro Valley, AZ.

As Jeanne says, "I love the Christmas Season and love filling my home with pretty décor to add to the festivities. It is also my favorite time of the year to entertain so I go all out in decorating."

"The concept is for my house to serve as an idea house for my customers. To inspire them to add special little details. This is not a model home, it is a truly lived-in home where every room is utilized, where old & new  blend together for a home filled with character."

Local jewelry artist, Donna Maas, has developed a devoted coterie of fans for her DMaas Designs, and is looking forward to making new friends over the weekend of December 2nd and 3rd.

Now for those of you who are afraid that I've shown too much of the decorating ideas in Jeanne's home, DO NOT WORRY.  You haven't seen the kitchen, the foyer, the living room, her bedroom, or the TREE!  As the old saying goes, "You ain't seen nothin' yet!"  Jeanne loves to entertain, and is looking forward to greeting you on Friday, December 2 from 10am-9pm.  She and Donna will also be opening the doors again on Saturday, December 3 from 10am-4pm.  The address, again, is 622 W. In Case You Missed It...

The first half of November has been busy, busy, busy at A Fine Line.  AFL celebrated its Second Anniversary with a Holiday Open House on November 10.  The special day included...

As a special treat, customers were invited to attend an exclusive, one-day only trunk show featuring Scottsdale jewelry designer, Karen Sugarman If you missed the opportunity to peruse the trunk show that day, please click on her name above, and the link will allow you to shop on her website.

 Karen's couture jewelry is exquisite and unique.  Each piece is a work of art and very carefully created.

The entire display was a feast for the eyes. 

And speaking of feasts ~ the Dream Team celebrated with their friends, serving champagne, wine and hot tea...

 along with trays filled with savory appetizers and delicious cookies created by Annette Hartman Catering.

Melt-in-your-mouth chocolates from Sabino  Artisan Chocolates were enormously popular as well. AFL is proud to sell these gourmet yummies by Tucson Chocolatier, Diane Trinque.

But that's not all the Dream Team at A Fine Line has been up to.  The following Sunday, November 13, the gals displayed their creativity with a table display at Sensational Settings, a local fundraiser which benefits St. Luke's Home.

The beautiful floral arrangement was designed by Elaine Taylor Fine Flowers.

 The theme for the table decor was "Simply Elegant"

 The mix of colors, glassware and chargers was a very popular hit with the attendees.

And the best part?  All of this tableware is available at A Fine Line.  So this Black Friday, shop local and enjoy a "Simply Elegant" holiday season.

It's the most wonderful time of the year!

It's the most wonderful time of the year...

I love this season!  Starting with Thanksgiving when I have an opportunity to reflect on all that I am grateful for, moving towards Christmas when I share festivities with so many of my friends and family & celebrate redemption, and then on the New Years looking forward to the year ahead - I just wish I could slow it all down and savor the moments a little longer.  My wish for each of you is that you will enjoy this time of the year and that it will be as low-stress as possible.

A Fine Line is in the process of changing out our displays from Fall to Winter but I still have a tabletop display set for Thanksgiving!  Our Christmas merchandise is out and we are getting new arrivals all the time. And we have great gifts and stocking stuffers.

One of my top sellers last year was a large Nativity Set and many of you were disappointed when I sold out of it.  The good news is that I have a new one that we are offering this year.

I love so much about it. It is not quite as large as the other, making it a little more manageable to find a spot for and a lot easier to store, but still big enough to make a great statement. It is a little more refined - but still has great character. It is made of Terra Cotta with a sweet light cream glaze.
$198 for the 8 piece set.  Supply is limited so hurry. 

The tree is trimmed and the Christmas decor has already started selling very quickly.  This year I've trimmed the tree in natural bark embellishments, moss ribbon, and different tones of metallic pinecones and ornaments.  The pewter, mocha, silver, gold and champagne tones are so natural and pretty together and add a touch of elegance to an otherwise beautiful but understated designer look.

Also, it's time to order your Christmas Cards and Holiday Party Invitations.  Kristi is geared up and ready for the rush! We've got an even bigger selection of products and designs to choose from this year.  One of our favorite additions is this new line of photocards with a great preppy look.

Holiday Soiree this Thursday

A Fine Line is celebrating their Second Anniversary this week with a special day of shopping and festivities from 10am-7pm this Thursday, November 10, 2011.  In conjuction with Embellish, the two boutiques will be hosting holiday-themed workshops at 11am and 2pm.  Then Happy Hour begins at 4:30pm!  The works of Susan Block and SiSi Amber will be featured throughout the day, and shoppers will have the chance to register for a drawing to win a shopping spree at both A Fine Line and Embellish.

Karen Sugarman began her career as an interior designer on Boston's posh Newbury Street. After moving with her family to Scottsdale, she transitioned her eye for beautifully-crafted, luxurious detail to creating jewelry.
