From 11-1 Holly Gardner, owner of Hollycake, a Tucson-based letterpress stationer with a 100-year old antique letterpress machine, will be in the store to talk about the letterpress process, letter-writing etiquette, and how having great stationery helps you write more. Her new miniature letterpress book entitled “Say It”, a modern guide on communication etiquette for young adults, will be available for purchase.

From 11-1 Jeanne Dwan, owner of A Fine Line Stationery & Gifts, will present Holiday Entertaining and Gift Ideas. She will also be introducing the new Mary Carol Collection, designed by popular interior designer and author, Mary Carol Garrity. Signed copies of her latest book, Nell Hill’s O Christmas Tree, will be available for purchase. The book is filled with lavish photos and lot of practical tips for decking your halls with beauty, splendor and stylish simplicity for the holidays.
Fri, Nov 20th – Open 10am to 7pm (open late for shopping and celebration)
From 11-1 Elaine Taylor, owner of Elaine Taylor Fine Flowers, will discuss Seasonal Floral and Decorating Ideas. Elaine is a former owner of The Grey House on Ft. Lowell and a talented florist specializing in wedding flowers and special events.
From 4-7 we will host a Grand Opening celebration with Appetizers and Drinks. Please join us for the festivities and get started on your holiday shopping.
Sat, Nov 21st – Open 10am to 3pm
From 11-1 Betsy Dunlap, Calligrapher, as featured in Martha Stewart Weddings, will be in the store to demonstrate her popular whimsical and elegant calligraphy and to introduce us to her newest seasonal items created with Shanna Murray, a NY based graphic designer. Betsy’s clients include Barneys New York, The Guggenheim Museum, Loeffler Randall, Atlanta Homes and Lifestyle, as well as countless happy brides!

Sensational Settings Table Design to benefit St. Luke's Home
After many years of attending the charity event "Sensational Settings" I entered my own table design for viewing. It was very fun to participate.
I used gift wrap to set the color scheme and mixed elegant dinnerware with paper plates. My floral arrangement was done by Elaine Taylor. It was a fun blend of beautiful, traditional flowers mixed with succulents to give it a little bit of flair.
My theme was a bridesmaid's luncheon where the bride was honoring her attendants. In addition to an elegantly set table the fictious bride expressed her thanks to her attendants with gift boxes filled with fabulous gifts from A Fine Line Stationery & Gifts. The table was complete with place cards and a menu card created in-house at A Fine Line.
I was pleased to be able to support the fundraising efforts for St. Luke's Home and to meet so many wonderful people.
