Each pendant is made from a vintage French medallion that the designer acquired during her trips to the antique markets in France. She carefully has the original recast in sterling silver to duplicate the original - with details from both the front and back.

Many of the medallions have writing on the back that adds to the charm of the piece. Some pieces have the date, a French or Latin message, or the city of origin and are just as beautiful on the back as the front!
